Miranda Hobbes is the smart successful self assured one out of the group. when she knows what she wants she goes for it. her biggest fear was of love. never a real believe of true love. at one point she even gave up the fact of being in a committed relationship, and gave up on love all together. until Steve Brady came along.

Miranda brought home the charming, sexy bartender Steve Brady assuming it was a one night stand. Steve had other intentions. when Steve finally convinced Miranda that he is for real and wanted a relationship with Miranda, she began to believe in love again. As time went by in the relationship, Miranda saw it deteriorating until she finally decided it wasn't going to work. They stopped talking for a while and then came to an agreance of being friends.

When Steve lost one of his testicles from cancer, Miranda tried to boost his confidence during a night of passion. Shortly after Miranda became pregnant and decided to keep the baby, Brady Hobbes. After another accidental night of passion Miranda realized she loved Steve. And after a brief relationship with Dr. Robert Leeds, Miranda had to end it due to her feelings for Steve. Luckily for Miranda Steve's feelings were mutual.
